Faculty Development Coordinator

In 2023, I transitioned to a new role as the Faculty Development Coordinator at the University of Florida, Gainesville. This role has allowed me to take my 30+ years in K12 education and 15+ years in higher education to the next level. It provides professional development around best practice strategies in teaching and learning. Job responsibilities include providing both face-to-face and online workshops around best practices, supporting faculty in their journey through Research in Teaching and Learning, facilitating First Year Faculty Teaching Academy, and co-facilitating faculty learning communities - like Harnessing Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence in the SEC through Auburn University. This position connects my love of teaching and educational technology.
